MicroNeedling
Lessen blemishes, wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks through your skin’s self-rejuvenating mechanism.
What is MicroNeedling?
MicroNeedling is a minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a tiny wheel or needle to puncture the skin. This causes the skin to produce new collagen and elastin, which can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks.
How does this procedure work?
The procedure starts with a thorough cleaning, typically accomplished with a vitamin C or collagen stimulant. After the skin has been cleaned (and numbed), tiny puncture wounds are made in the skin using a microneedling pen, which has 12 thin, tiny needles. The needles’ speed can be changed for more efficient piercing. After that, a serum containing hyaluronic acid or vitamin C is used to moisturise and treat the microscopic wounds. Only the skin’s topmost layer is damaged during this process, which encourages the growth of the collagen and elastin fibres that give your skin its naturally smooth, plump, and youthful appearance.

What changes can I expect after this treatment?
You can initially suffer some redness and minor swelling over the first several days (think of a mild to medium sunburn). Some patients can have minor bruising or localised bleeding. However, the results should start appearing in about 48 hours. You can expect full recovery within one month.
